Het filmfestival van Venetië krijgt dit jaar een motorfilm. ‘Beauty is not a sin’ is een kortfilm van Nicolas Winding Refn die – als we het persbericht van MV mogen geloven – helemaal draait rond MV’s Superveloce als ultiem lustobject.
De naam Winding Refn zegt u mogelijks weinig, maar het is de regisseur achter topfilm ‘Drive’ uit 2011 met Ryan Gosling in de hoofdrol. Na enkele minder succesvolle Hollywoodproducties waagt de man zich nu aan een kortfilm met een hoog octaangehalte, hopelijk een recipe for succes. Het filmfestival van Venetië is sinds jaar en dag een graadmeter voor de Oscars, dus misschien al een geheimtip om in de gaten te houden.
